Desde el Instrumento Electoral por la Unidad Popular (UP) de Río Cuarto, se rechaza de plano las intenciones de la empresa monopólica prestataria del servicio de transporte urbano de pasajeros en la ciudad de aumentar el valor del boleto urbano a $4,50.
“Es una nueva burla a los trabajadores y al conjunto de los sectores populares. Lo que se pretende hacer, es una desproporción que castiga a los sectores más vulnerables de la sociedad. Una vez más se demuestra que hay que rediscutir el servicio público de transporte, tal cual nosotros lo venimos remarcando desde la campaña electoral y desmontar el monopolio en el sector, a favor de un mejor servicio para la gente con costos razonables y accesibles para el bolsillo de los trabajadores y demás sectores populares. Porque si no, los ciudadanos de a pie quedamos como rehenes entre los acuerdos del gobierno municipal de turno y la empresa monopólica”, sostuvo el ex candidato a Intendente por UP, Juan Carlos Giuliani.
“Si el Concejo Deliberante y el Departamento Ejecutivo Municipal vuelven a ceder a la voracidad de la patronal del transporte urbano de pasajeros, Río Cuarto, además de contar con el tristemente célebre mote de ‘Capital del Trabajo en Negro’, se convertirá en la ciudad con el boleto de ómnibus más caro del país”, remató Giuliani.
